SALEM CROSS INN

Updated: Jan 30

History, charm, elegance and culinary delights…

The Salem Cross Inn is a restored 18th century farmhouse nestled on 600 acres of New England countryside. Though it is rich with history, the house, turned restaurant and tavern, offers wonderful seasonal menus with tradit

ional American fare alongside what today’s dining public is looking for. The Salem family is proud to say that everything is prepared fresh each day while incorporating heirloom vegetables and herbs grown in our own gardens.

What a perfect place to share dinner with friends and neighbors on a cold winter's night. The food was good and our waitress worked very hard to keep us happy. Great choice.

Awesome night with brave New Englanders on a blustery Feb night. I had the schnitzel which was fabulous and Mike had Prime rib cook perfectly. It’s hard to find a Prime Rib choice these days. It was a pleasant surprise. The company we had around us were terrific, with some interesting stories. I’ll post next months destination beginning of next week.
